Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at TerryTown RV Superstore in Grand Rapids, MI. This role oversees the sales and fiance team, sets performance goals, and ensures that customers receive knowledgeable, friendly guidance throughout the RV purchasing process. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring sales staff, monitoring sales metrics, customer follow up, and coordinating with service, finance, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations. The Sales Manager will implement sales strategies, lead customer engagement initiatives, handle escalated customer concerns, and help maintain the showroom’s professional appearance. This role also involves participating in RV Shows, staying informed about product lines and industry trends, and contributing to the continued growth of the dealership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, preferably in automotive, RV, or retail environments, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

• Strong skills in team management, coaching, and performance development to support and guide a diverse sales staff.

• Proficiency in customer relationship management, including consultative selling, negotiation, and handling complex or escalated customer situations.

• Ability to analyze sales reports, market data, and inventory information to inform pricing, promotions, and strategic decisions.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and engage customers in a clear, professional manner.
\n
• Comfort with using sales and dealership software systems, as well as basic office applications for reporting and documentation.
\n
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service consistent with a family-owned business culture.
\n
• Availability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and peak sales periods as needed.
