Live Chat Representative Job Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: Remote / On-site Department: Customer Service Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Live Chat Representative to assist customers through online chat. The representative will respond to customer inquiries, provide accurate information, resolve basic issues, and ensure each customer receives a positive support experience. Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customers through live chat. Answer questions about products, services, orders, accounts, and company policies. Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns when possible. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions. Follow company procedures and customer-service guidelines. Handle multiple chat conversations while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Protect customer privacy and confidential information. Follow up with customers when necessary to ensure their concerns are resolved. Meet established customer-service and response-time standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong written communication and typing skills. Professional and courteous communication style. Ability to multitask and manage several conversations efficiently. Basic computer and internet skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous customer-service or chat-support experience is a plus.
